Ahmane’ Glover

Ahmane’ Glover lives on the edge of intense creative energy. She craves passion, joy and limitless possibilities for personal and communal wellness. When the world says, “give up,” the rhythm of her life says, “create change!” She is a spoken word artist, cultural organizer, tantrika, sexologist, reiki healer and holistic trauma informed facilitator of healing committed to creating innovative strategies to heal social division and ignite social change. Her sacred mission is to activate the power of the arts for communal healing and liberatory movements.

As an Authentic Tantra Practitioner, she embodies the ancient Shangpa Kagyu lineage based wisdom that has been passed on to her by the brilliant Authentic Tantra® teachers. When asked, “why is pleasure sacred medicine?” She responds, look at my life and see that I am a living testimony of the sacred healing powers of this practice -- from transforming sugar addiction to releasing body shame. And just when your interest is peaked, she will invite you to enjoy the transformative power of Authentic Tantra® which is best lived into -- breath by breath.

Join her for one of her life affirming sessions and you will see why the common response of her clients is, “Wow, this stuff really works! More please!”

As a cultural organizer and facilitator of healing, she has led and created over 100 workshops, retreats, events and actions rooted in art for social change.

Igniting her leadership training are experiences as a leader in: The Sanctuaries (past co-director),  The Kennedy Center (Culture Caucus Cohort '20-'22), Aspen Ideas Festival (panelist), Catalyst for Peace (Sierra Leone Experience), Women's March (Art Coordinator/Community Engagement), Poor People's Campaign (art collaborator), The Urban Bush Women Summer Leadership Institute, The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond - Undoing Racism (Train the Trainer Process), Kingian Nonviolence Training Program in South Africa, a language immersion program in Spain and numerous other artistic programs rooted in arts focused community healing and activism.

As a result of Glover's community organizing journey, she was awarded an esteemed fellowship in the inaugural class of the Greensboro Justice Fund Fellowship at Highlander Research and Education Center.
